Socio-economic and environmental impact of magnetic water treatment in Cuba from a Science and Technology approach and Society.
Keywords:
water, science, sustainable development, society, technology, magnetic treatmentAbstract
The impact that the use of magnetic water treatment (TMA) can provide as an innovative, economical and friendly technology, important aspects of social well-being and increased quality of life, is unavoidable. The study of TMA technology from a Science, Technology and Society (STS) approach contributes to raising the ethical, political and social dimension of the scientific work embedded in the development and innovation process of this technique. Therefore, this research argues from a STS approach the socioeconomic impact of the use of TMA as an environmentally friendly technology for water treatment in Cuba.
