Gestión integral de pérdidas de agua: un caso de estudio
Abstract
La gestión integral de pérdidas reales ha tomado gran relevancia en las últimas décadas para las empresas gestoras del ciclo integral del agua. Esto se debe fundamentalmente a que globalmente la demanda del recurso natural está aumentando y sus fuentes están disminuyendo. El presente trabajo describe la utilización de una metodología, orientada a la gestión de las pérdidas reales, aplicada a un caso de estudio, donde se expone como se maneja lo que se han dado en llamar, en la última década, pilares de las pérdidas reales. Además se demuestran los resultados prácticos de la metodología en cuestión, así como su importancia para lograr un uso racional del agua.
