Estabilidad de rompeolas emergidos bajo la acción del oleaje irregular
Abstract
Los rompeolas emergidos son estructuras que brindan protección a la infraestructura portuaria, por lo cual es esencial tener un conocimiento de su comportamiento bajo la acción del oleaje. El oleaje presenta varios efectos hidrodinámicos sobre los rompeolas, entre los cuales está su estabilidad objeto de este estudio. Éste se realizó en el Laboratorio de Ingeniería Hidráulica de la Escuela Superior de Ingeniería y Arquitectura - Unidad Zacatenco del Instituto Politécnico Nacional de México, en el canal angosto con generador hidráulico de oleaje y equipo de medición de olas controlados por computadoras. En el anterior se analizó la estabilidad de dos estructuras a través de mediciones de oleaje, así como de fotografía y video, las cuales aportaron información que se correlacionó con criterios encontrados en el estado del arte.Palabras clave: canal de olas, ensayos, estabilidad, oleaje irregular, rompeolas.
