Diseño del muro del malecón habanero armado con polímeros reforzados con fibras de vidrio
Abstract
El Malecón Habanero es constantemente azotado por las inclemencias del clima y de su integridad dependen las construcciones aledañas de la capital cubana. El hormigón que conforma el muro tiene diferentes estados de deterioro, por lo que se hace inminente la reparación del mismo utilizando un material de refuerzo que elimine por completo el problema de la corrosión. En este trabajo se llevará a cabo el diseño estructural de una nueva variante del muro armado con polímeros reforzados con fibras de vidrio (PRFV) como alternativa de solución ante el armado con acero. Con los resultados de este trabajo se espera obtener un mayor conocimiento sobre las ventajas de la aplicación de los PRFV en la construcción de estructuras expuestas a ambientes agresivos.
