Modelación matemática como estrategia para el diseño de redes de drenaje pluvial urbano
Abstract
En este artículo se discute el procedimiento para la aplicación de una estrategia para el dimensionamiento de redes de drenaje pluvial urbano aplicando la modelación matemática y se discuten los resultados alcanzados. Se tomó como base el Plan Director de Saneamiento de la ciudad de Luanda, el estudio realizado por la Unidad del Gabinete Técnico de Saneamiento de Luanda (UTGSL) para la cuenca Marzal y datos provenientes de diversas fuentes y escalas, de manera que los requisitos que exigen los modelos de simulación fueran debidamente respetados y adecuados para el estudio de los procesos hidrológicos en un ambiente urbano.
