Estimación de las pérdidas por filtración y el coeficiente de rugosidad en el canal de Albear
Abstract
El canal de Albear, conducción del acueducto del mismo
nombre, tiene más de un siglo de explotación continua
como fuente de la ciudad de La Habana. Antes de su rehabilitación
capital, efectuada en el 2001, presentó serios
problemas por su edad y la falta de un mantenimiento sistemático.
En este trabajo se resolvió numéricamente la ecuación
de flujo permanente y espacialmente variado por el
método de Runge-Kutta, acoplado a un algoritmo de búsqueda
local para la identificación de parámetros. Los resultados
fueron contrastados con el modelo HEC-RAS, con
un balance favorable al procedimiento empleado.
