Abstract

The efficiency of irrigation systems is a priority issue for most countries in the world and Cuba is not exempt from this problem. One of the problems that affects the areas under irrigation in Cuban agriculture is the low efficiency during water management, for this reason, it is not enough to continue implementing new technologies in agricultural facilities, this effort must be complemented with an adequate level of efficient use of water and energy, which guarantees the conservation of these important resources. In this context, this methodological proposal aims to contribute to improving the efficient management of irrigation water in Cuban Agricultural Companies, through the use of tools and procedures based on scientific research and innovation, used internationally.
