El nacimiento de la Hidrodinámica Teórica
Abstract
El presente trabajo analiza los contextos en los cuales se desarrolló el nacimiento de la Hidrodinámica Teórica y los aportes de sus principales exponentes en el siglo XVIII. Se discute acerca del origen de uno de los principios más importantes de esta rama de la Mecánica de los Fluidos: el teorema de Bernoulli. Además, se reflexiona sobre los progresos científicos ocurridos en los siglos XVI y XVII, en particular los aportes de Isaac Newton. Define los aspectos fundamentales de la vida de los cuatro fundadores de esta disciplina científica: L. Euler, D. Bernoulli, J. L. D´Alembert y A. Clairaut.
