Isohyets contour maps for the province of Mayabeque
Keywords:
maps, isohyetal, RStudioAbstract
This study presents the maximum daily rainfall in Mayabeque province. A regional analysis of these rainfall series was performed using modern tools such as R and its RStudio interface. Rainfall quantiles are obtained for the four regions defined for different return periods, and precipitation-duration-return period curves (PDF) are presented for each region. Isohyet curve maps for Mayabeque province are presented for return periods of 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 years.
