La fitoremediación para el tratamiento de aguas de piscinas
Abstract
Los métodos biológicos de fitoremediación o bioremediación han sido muy aplicados en el tratamiento de las aguas para piscinas de usos recreativos como deportivas. La modalidad más empleada de fitodepuración de las aguas de piscinas son los humedales artificiales, principalmente los de flujo vertical. En este trabajo se presenta la evaluación de un humedal artificial de flujo vertical sembrado con la planta vegetal Typha Domingensis, para el tratamiento de aguas de piscinas a escala de laboratorio para las condiciones climáticas de la provincia de Santiago de Cuba. Para evaluar el efecto real de dicha planta vegetal se utiliza en paralelo un sistema sin ella.
