Obras hidráulicas y enseñanza de esta especialidad en tiempo y espacio cubanos
Abstract
En este trabajo se hace un recuento histórico de dos aspectos fundamentales de la ingeniería hidráulica: la construcción de obras y la enseñanza de ella en el entorno cubano. Se puede apreciar cómo la evolución de la primera ha conllevado a la evolución de la segunda. También se evidencia cómo la formación de estos especialistas ha repercutido en la complejidad del primer aspecto. Varios de los diversos factores que han influido en estos procesos son mencionados, estableciendo de esta manera una memoria histórica, que ha sido dividida en cinco etapas, abarcando más de cinco siglos. En cada una son presentadas la construcción de las obras hidráulicas y la enseñanza de esta especialidad, estableciendo el vínculo lógico – histórico entre ellos.
