Análisis de la dinámica del uso del suelo de la cuenca Metztitlán en Hidalgo, México
Abstract
Se realizó un análisis temporal (2007-2013) de la dinámica de cambio de la cobertura vegetal y del uso de suelo en la cuenca río Metztitlán, Hidalgo, México con el objetivo de actualizar su estatus. Se utilizó un mapa generado para 2007 con imágenes Landsat 5 y Landsat 7 e imágenes SPOT 5 y 6 para 2013. Los resultados muestran que las áreas destinadas a la agricultura de riego y temporal disminuyeron en 34,8 y 25,6 %, respectivamente. El análisis de cambios indica que el uso urbano y los cuerpos de agua aumentaron 305,3 y 82,4 %, respectivamente. Se recomienda transitar del uso de imágenes de mediana resolución espacial (Landsat), al uso de imágenes de alta resolución (SPOT) si la intención es evaluar con detalle los cambios que acontecen en la región.
